Documentation/Wizard Guide/Step 6: Review & Deploy

Step Overview

Step 6 is the final step where you review all your configuration settings and deploy the guest portal to your Meraki network. This step creates the actual portal and makes it live.

Configuration Review

Settings Summary

Before deployment, you'll see a summary of all your selections:

  • Organization and Network details
  • Selected SSID and security configuration
  • Group policy and IPSK settings
  • Portal name, slug, and primary colour

Deployment Process

What Happens During Deployment

When you click "Deploy Portal", the system performs these actions:

  1. 1.Creates a new portal entry in the database
  2. 2.Configures IPSK settings on your Meraki network
  3. 3.Sets up the SSID with the selected group policy
  4. 4.Generates the branded guest portal page
  5. 5.Provides you with the portal URL for guests

Deployment Time

The deployment process typically takes 30-60 seconds to complete. During this time:

  • • Don't close the browser tab or navigate away
  • • Wait for the success confirmation message
  • • Allow time for Meraki network updates to propagate
  • • Be patient - complex networks may take longer

After Successful Deployment
