Name your portal and set a URL slug — full branding comes later
Step 5 is intentionally minimal — there are only three fields to fill in before moving to the final review. Full branding customisation (logo, background, text, QR style, credential settings and more) takes place in the dedicated Branding Editor after your portal is live, so the wizard keeps the setup fast and focused.
💡 Keep moving
Don't worry about getting everything perfect here. Name and slug can be changed later from the portal settings, and every visual detail can be fine-tuned in the Branding Editor at any time.
The portal name is a friendly label used inside the QuuPass dashboard to help you identify this portal. It is not displayed to WiFi guests.
The slug is the URL path guests visit to get their WiFi credentials. It appears after your site identifier in the portal address — for example:
Pick a starting colour for the portal button and accent elements. You can enter a hex code directly or use the colour picker. This is just a starting point — the full Branding Editor gives you fine-grained control over all colours, including background and QR code styling.
The default #A4D171 (QuuPass green) works well as a placeholder. Replace it with your brand colour before finalising.
Once your portal is deployed you can open the Branding Editor from the portal detail page. It is a live, what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor — every change is previewed in real time before you save.

The Branding Editor is accessible any time via Portals → your portal → Branding in the dashboard, or via the Edit Branding button on the portal detail page. All changes apply instantly to the live guest portal on save.
After completing Step 5 you move to Step 6 — Review & Deploy. That final step shows a summary of every choice made in the wizard and lets you confirm before the portal is created and pushed live to your Meraki network.
