QuuPass analytics tracks credential issuance — how many guest credentials have been created, which portals are being used most, and how demand varies over time. This tells you how active your guest Wi-Fi deployment is and which portals get the most traffic.
Scope: Analytics counts credentials issued through QuuPass. This is distinct from raw device-level Wi-Fi association data, which is available through the Meraki Dashboard separately. A single guest may visit a portal multiple times; each visit generates a new credential.
The Dashboard home shows four headline metrics at a glance alongside your subscription usage:
Number of guest portals you have created, shown against your plan limit. Tracks how much of your portal quota is in use.
Portals that are currently enabled and accepting guest connections. Paused or disabled portals are excluded from this count.
Cumulative count of credentials ever issued across all portals. Includes active, expired, and manually deleted credentials.
Number of distinct Meraki networks linked to at least one portal, shown against your plan network limit.
The analytics page breaks down credentials by their current state:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Credentials | All credentials ever generated across every portal. |
| Active Credentials | Credentials within their expiry window that are still valid for Wi-Fi authentication. |
| Expired Credentials | Credentials past their expiry date. Still stored for record-keeping until manually cleared. |
| Issued Today | Credentials generated since midnight (server time). |
| Issued This Week | Credentials generated in the last 7 days. |
| Issued This Month | Credentials generated in the current calendar month. |
The analytics page displays your top 5 portals ranked by total credential count. This identifies your highest-traffic touchpoints — useful for prioritising branding investment or spotting portals that may need their credential expiry tuned.
The bar chart shows how many credentials were issued each day over the past 7 days. This reveals usage patterns — for example, whether a venue is busier at weekends, or how a promotional event drove a spike in guest access.
